luukeSome scans from it, at any rate. Mostly relating to Tao, Vader's illegitimate apprentice. ....No, the other one. How many of those did he have, again?

There is then a lengthy interlude recounting the Battle of Yavin, primarily from Luke's point of view. You know how that story goes.
He goes before the Emperor.
- Hey, that's the same kind of arm he made for himself! But child-sized. Aaaaw...
I have the second issue, too.
There's another interlude, in which Vader broods, finds out that the pilot who destroyed the Death Star was Luke Skywalker, and flashes back to the end of his fight with Obi-Wan, when he saw Luke briefly at a distance.
It's the Executor, which the Emperor presents to Vader.
It's then that a Force-Sensitive Tusken Raider with two lightsabers attacks. ...Which is pretty random, but whatever. Apparently he escaped that incident in AotC and spent twenty years studying, practicing, and planning for this moment. Whatever's happened, he's really strong in the Dark Side, and at the moment? Vader isn't. So he gets a chunk of his helmet knocked off.
So Tao kills the Tusken in one stroke.
Then, Vader goes to Tattooine.
